Subject Creative Commons ShareAlike in documentation
Date Thu, 27 Mar 2008 21:08:21 GMT

In Buildr (yes, again ;-) ) our documentation uses a set of icons that are
licensed under CC ShareAlike 2.5 [1]. We like pretty documentation. The
thing is, the documentation is also part of our source distribution. The
consequence is that:

- You cannot sub-license the icons (but you can provide your own icons with
no loss of functionality).
- You cannot change the source in a manner that removes the notice, while
still including the icons there.

This being part of the documentation, my feeling is that it's okay. Anybody
with a different opinion?
