Subject Including jEdit code in Batik
Date Sat, 20 Oct 2007 06:38:07 GMT
Hi legal-discuss.

Part of the work of Batik’s two Summer of Code students involved
integrating the jEdit syntax highlighting text component[1] into Batik’s
View Source window. This library is only distributed in source form,
and the source files have this licence text:

 * Copyright (C) 1999 Slava Pestov
 * You may use and modify this package for any purpose. Redistribution is

 * remains intact in all source distributions of this package.

This sounds like a category A licence, which means the files can be
included in the repository. Is that correct?
