Please be VERY careful Henri, never post that comment without
clarifying;
members may join legal-internal. The communications on legal-internal
are Privileged attorney-client communications of the foundation strictly
for private discussion of legal issues, and as such no activity within
legal-internal may be repeated outside of that forum. As a participant
you become an ASF representative with all associated responsibilities.
So it was always my preference, since the list is on a need-to-know
basis, not to subscribe where I didn't need to know. As a member
of the new legal committee, now I actually do need to know, and have
subscribed.
Everyone can rest assured that questions posed to legal-discuss will
be addressed, in time, perhaps with a round-trip to legal-internal for
our lawyer's review, and perhaps with a round-trip to the board for
the ASF's official position. (Just asking our laywers often isn't
enough.)
