Build artifacts not getting deployed for Camel
----------------------------------------------

                 Key: INFRA-2352
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-2352
             Project: Infrastructure
          Issue Type: Bug
      Security Level: public (Regular issues)
          Components: Hudson
            Reporter: Jonathan Anstey

I recently added source jars to the Camel build in Hudson. To do this, I added a profile http://svn.apache.org/viewvc/camel/trunk/pom.xml?r1=882039&r2=884081&pathrev=884081
and then added -Psource-jar to the Maven options in the Camel build config http://hudson.zones.apache.org/hudson/job/Camel

So now Hudson reports the new build artifacts are generated. Looking at the camel-core module
for instance, Hudson reports these artifacts:

    * pom.xml [fingerprint]
    * camel-core-2.1-SNAPSHOT-tests.jar [fingerprint]
    * camel-core-2.1-SNAPSHOT-sources.jar [fingerprint]
    * camel-core-2.1-SNAPSHOT.jar [fingerprint]

So I thought that the camel-core-2.1-SNAPSHOT-sources.jar file would be deployed like the
rest. Not so. Looking at https://repository.apache.org/content/repositories/snapshots/org/apache/camel/camel-core/2.1-SNAPSHOT/
only the other build artifacts are deployed... does anyone know what could be happening here?
Or should I try and contact the Hudson team about this?

lucene.zones.apache.org appears to be down (it does not respond to pings)

The date stamps on artifacts normally produced by crons that run in this zone on a daily basis
suggest it has been down since approximately November 15th.

Nothing in the zones doucmentation suggests an obvious way for the PMC to "reboot" or "boot"
the zone ourselves, but if this is something we can deal with self service please let us know...

> We will need
> tuscany-sca-2.x - https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/tuscany/sca-java-2.x/
> but, although we have already moved all branches and tags, we haven't moved trunk yet,
so I'm not sure if now it's a good time to do this one.

---------------------------------

Miha Poberaj,

Your crontab entry is BAD ; you rsync every minute ;
Your rsyncs now block rsync access to rsync.apache.org.

Please,

-- stop rsync now
-- kill all your running rsync jobs
-- fix your crontab entry ; see the how-to-mirror:
http://www.apache.org/info/how-to-mirror.html

I think your crontab starts with a '*' ;
change that to a number between 0 and 59.

If this isn;t fixed very soon, we will have to block your site.

Regards,

Henk Penning

>
> If possible, we'd like to make a couple of changes to the BuildBot configuration for
the main OFBiz build (http://ci.apache.org/builders/ofbiz-trunk) on:
> * Please have any build failure notifications sent to dev@ofbiz.apache.org, please do
this also for ofbiz-branch9 (http://ci.apache.org/builders/ofbiz-branch9)
> * Please alter the build targets from "build, docs-all" to "run-install, run-tests, docs-all",
if BuildBot is doing an svn up rather than a checkout we'll also need to add a "clean-all"
target to the start of that list (but I don't think it's doing an update). This is only for
ofbiz-trunk, ofbiz-branch9 can remain as is.
> Many thanks

The Apache OFBiz community is ready to move http://docs.ofbiz.org from Contegix to ASF server.
It's currently running under version 2.10.4. We will make whatever changes we need to on

once it's there.

Discussions welcomed at builds@a.o

Hi Tim,

that's a good question. I just want to have access to the existing pdfbox build job. PDFBox
is a pure java application, so that it should build on Ubuntu too.
Jukka has done the setup for that job. If oyu need more details I'll ask him for that.

Andreas,

Do you specifically want Solaris only access? or will PDFBox build on Ubuntu systems too?
It would be preferable if your define the build requirements as broadly as possible.

Regards,
Tim

> In the case of Commons we have a couple of projects that have already moved over, and
for the (sandbox) component in particular I'm dealing with I'm to date the only contributor,
so I would deem the ML result unnecessary in this case. Thanks!
