Subject [jira] [Created] (INFRA-12493) Current jenkins/junit plugin is a bit buggy
Date Wed, 24 Aug 2016 23:20:20 GMT
Zoltan Haindrich created INFRA-12493:

Summary: Current jenkins/junit plugin is a bit buggy
                 Key: INFRA-12493
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-12493
             Project: Infrastructure
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: Jenkins
            Reporter: Zoltan Haindrich
            Priority: Minor

The currently installed jenkins/junit plugin(https://wiki.jenkins-ci.org/display/JENKINS/JUnit+Plugin)
causes hive/ptest executions to report invalid run-times.

I've fixed the problem in that plugin; and opened a pullrequest, but I'm not sure when they
will release a newer version of the plugin.

current options:

* optionally wait for the newer version...but I can't tell when they will be merging and releasing
a new version (with the fix included)
* downgrade to junit 1.10 - i've checked..it works "better" with it
hpi packages are here:
* build a hpi from the patched source at
using {{mvn package}}...but they have encountered some 1.x related issues lately... prior
to the 1.18 release so I would be a bit skeptical skipping their release process in this case.
