Daniel Takamori commented on INFRA-12397:

I've lifted the protected status, so can you try to delete the tag and push your new one?

> Accidentally created rel tag pointing to wrong commit
> -----------------------------------------------------
> Key: INFRA-12397
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-12397
> Project: Infrastructure
> Issue Type: Task
> Components: Git
> Reporter: Joseph Percivall
> Priority: Critical
> In doing the nifi-1.0.0-BETA release I accidentally tagged the wrong commit as "rel/nifi-1.0.0-BETA"[1].
I tried to fix it my self by deleting or replacing the tag but I keep getting denied due to
"Rewinding refs/tags/rel/nifi-1.0.0-BETA is forbidden." I'm assuming this is acting correctly
and only infra can modify a "rel" tag.
> I pushed out the correctly tagged commit as "rel/nifi-1.0.0-BETA-official"[2].
> Could infra delete the "nifi-1.0.0-BETA" tag and rename "rel/nifi-1.0.0-BETA-official"
to "nifi-1.0.0-BETA"?
