Subject [jira] [Commented] (INFRA-12357) Having problems connecting to home.apache.org
Date Tue, 02 Aug 2016 22:48:20 GMT

Matt Sicker commented on INFRA-12357:

I have some useful information: I can't connect via IPv6, but when I'm on my work connection
(which is IPv4), I'm able to connect. As a test, I can successfully run "ping home.apache.org",
but "ping6 home.apache.org" resolves an IP address but every packet gets lost. My IP address
currently is 2601:246:4e02:8e70:d918:a097:1b26:f30d.

> Key: INFRA-12357
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-12357
> Project: Infrastructure
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: Other/Misc
> Reporter: Matt Sicker
> I've updated my keys in my id.apache.org settings, and still I can't use sftp or Filezilla
or sshfs to connect to home.apache.org. For example, here is the log output from Filezilla:
> Status:	Connecting to home.apache.org...
> Response:	fzSftp started, protocol_version=6
> Command:	keyfile "/home/matt/.ssh/id_rsa"
> Command:	open "mattsicker@home.apache.org" 22
> Error:	Connection timed out after 20 seconds of inactivity
> Error:	Could not connect to server
> Status:	Waiting to retry...
> I never had these issues with people.apache.org, and I need somewhere to upload a release
candidate website for commons-dbcp. I'd rather not use GitHub for that as it might not be
allowed for Apache projects.
