Chris Lambertus commented on INFRA-12343:

I found it on the upper right. Clicked my username -> profile, then clicked Summary which
gave me a dropdown that let me select User Token. Care to give it a try [~dhalperi@google.com]
and let us know if it works as intended?

> Apache's Nexus expects us to put username and password in cleartext in ~/.m2/settings.xml.
> For other projects, I have been able to get from Nexus web UI pseudorandom tokens for
"username" and "password" instead. This seems a medium security improvement.
> Filing a feature request/wish for token per suggestion on hipchat.
> Thanks!
