Subject [jira] [Commented] (INFRA-12252) Investigate missing notifications emails from project Jenkins
Date Wed, 13 Jul 2016 23:22:20 GMT

Christopher Tubbs commented on INFRA-12252:

I'm not sure this is "Fixed". Does the above comment from [~ipv6guru] mean that the notifications@
list has been changed to accept email from other addresses, or does it mean that an explanation
has been provided to explain why the list is rejecting the emails?

If it's the former, I think additional investigation should be done, because I just tried
and it did not work.

> It appears (not confirmed) that ASF mail servers are blocking no-reply@jenkins.revelc.net
from sending to notifications@accumulo.apache.org list (we're running our own Jenkins in Amazon
EC2 for routine testing, because it's beefier and less contention with other ASF builds).
> I believe it's not even making it to the moderation queue. We've verified we can send
to other addresses (like to GMail), and we believe we've properly added the address to the
list, so it shouldn't require moderation.
