Daniel Takamori commented on INFRA-12033:
-----------------------------------------

Resolved for now, and created https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-12037 so we have
something monitoring the status of the repos.

> status.apache.org reports everything as "pink and rosy" even if there is an outage in
git (getting 403 errors)

> Key: INFRA-12033
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-12033
> Project: Infrastructure
> Issue Type: Improvement
> Components: Monitoring
> Reporter: Dan Haywood

> as per ISIS-12032.
> the graphs on status.apache.org show that no-one has been able to push to git for more
than an hour, but nevertheless the headline is all is "pink and rosy".
> Perhaps there should be some sort of dummy commit/push every 10 minutes or so to detect
these outages faster.
