Siddharth Seth commented on INFRA-11879:
----------------------------------------

[~pono] - is it possible to set this to the contributor list for the project instead of 'Reporter'
? Reporter is very restrictive, and doesn't allow contributors to set many of the fields -
target version, fix version, severity, etc. Thanks
e.g. I can't modify any of the fields on https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HIVE-13698

> A number of people have restricted editing abilities on Hive project.
> For example, https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HIVE-13691.
> I don't have an Edit button. I'm unable to edit Title/Description or change Target Version.
> I am however able to add comments and attach file and change status.
> Other people have the same problem.
> This was not how it worked before.
> Can this functionality be restored?
