Subject [jira] [Created] (INFRA-11121) Procuring additional Travis CI capacity
Date Tue, 26 Jan 2016 02:07:39 GMT
Wes McKinney created INFRA-11121:

Summary: Procuring additional Travis CI capacity
                 Key: INFRA-11121
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-11121
             Project: Infrastructure
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: Other/Misc
            Reporter: Wes McKinney

All Apache projects hosted on GitHub using Travis CI share a common limited pool of executers
(https://travis-ci.org/apache) -- as a result it's not uncommon to wait several hours during
the day for builds to complete.

It would be a major benefit to projects using Travis CI to have some additional bandwidth.
I'm not sure what our current service level is, but I know that for OSS projects the first
paid tier is $500/month and includes 15 concurrent builds.
