Subject [jira] [Commented] (INFRA-10731) Replace Hive's git 'master' branch with 'master-fixed'

Geoffrey Corey commented on INFRA-10731:

Ok, hive.git should have the fixed branch in place. It is currently set to read-only, and
also so that only those with infra karma can commit. I have also paused syncing for the git
mirrors (it does contain the tag I created).

As for the "It must include the relevant commit hashes" part of the email, I know it will
contain the commit hash of the tag, but I'm unsure of any other hashes that should go into
the email.

> In Hive, we made a commit that has a 103mb tarball that should not have been committed.
This large blob blocks forks for getting pushed to github.
> We've made a modification of the master branch with the offending large tarball and named
the branch 'master-fixed'. The git diff between the two is empty. Please replace the 'master'
branch with 'master-fixed'.
