Subject [jira] [Created] (INFRA-9982) orcus_ubuntu is down
Date Mon, 13 Jul 2015 16:12:04 GMT
Maximilian Michels created INFRA-9982:
-----------------------------------------

             Summary: orcus_ubuntu is down
                 Key: INFRA-9982
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-9982
             Project: Infrastructure
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: Buildbot
            Reporter: Maximilian Michels
            Priority: Critical

The {{orcus_ubuntu}} host is down. It is configured for our builds. It has been down for more
than a week. It would be great if

1) {{orcus_ubuntu}} would be brought up again
2) one of the other hosts like {{lares_ubuntu}} also had the same configuration (mainly Jekyll
dependencies missing). That way, we could have a failover.

Concerning 2), we could probably also set up a virtual environment in the build scripts to
install our dependencies. I'm not sure if that is possible, i.e. virtualenv is installed.
