Subject [jira] [Commented] (INFRA-9620) Jira-wiki integration does not seem to work
Date Tue, 19 May 2015 17:24:00 GMT

Joel Koshy commented on INFRA-9620:

A couple of more issues that we ran into:
- The table only displays 26 (or so) issues. Anything more than that and you are forced to
go to jira. Any way to specify an unlimited list or at least paginate? The integration used
to do that before which was nice.
- There seems to be some caching going on. i.e., the current view on the wiki is out of date.
E.g., the reviewer column does not reflect recent changes from the jira system. Again, this
was not an issue in the earlier integration because that gave a button to refresh the view
(in the wiki itself).

> I need to use the jiraissues macro from a confluence wiki page in the Kafka project.

> I was able to add an application link from our confluence wiki space tools, but I don't
see any way to add application links in the KAFKA jira administration page. My understanding
is that an application link is needed in both directions.
> I'm looking at the following documentation:
> https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Linking+to+Another+Application
> https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CONF50/Setting+Up+Trusted+Communication+between+JIRA+and+Confluence

> I was told in INFRA-9452 that this was already supported and that I should be able to
use it.
> However, I had no luck in using this on a wiki. When I try to insert a jira macro in
the wiki to a filter (https://issues.apache.org/jira/sr/jira.issueviews:searchrequest-xml/12327851/SearchRequest-12327851.xml?tempMax=100)
I get this:
> {noformat}
> The URL filter is not available to you, perhaps it has been deleted or had its permissions
> {noformat}
> And if I try to enter a search filter directly it gives me a 404.
> Would you be able to help look into this? I'm trying to set up a review-queue wiki to
help make sure patches that the community submits receive enough visibility and get reviewed
in a timely manner.
> I'm using this page to test: https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/KAFKA/Whiteboard
