Subject [jira] [Commented] (INFRA-9302) Adding OAuth to access Ignite project via REST API
Date Tue, 31 Mar 2015 00:21:53 GMT

Konstantin Boudnik commented on INFRA-9302:

[~pctony] I think I found a workaround for the problem by using jira-cli tools. Which is seemingly
using SOAP in the background and doesn't have to deal with OAuth. I will close the ticket
- it might be easier for everybody. Thanks!

> We would like to have some automation around CI be done via JIRA REST API (adding comments
to the tickets, and so on). However, basic auth (e.g. username/password) doesn't work as JIRA
expects OAuth instead. Looks like I am not even unable to obtain the the auth token as JIRA
complains that
> {noformat}
> Caused by: net.oauth.OAuthProblemException: consumer_key_unknown
>         at net.oauth.client.OAuthResponseMessage.toOAuthProblemException(OAuthResponseMessage.java:83)
> {noformat}
> Is there anything that needs to be done on the server side before we can proceed? Thanks
in advance for your help!
