Konstantin Boudnik commented on INFRA-9011:

Thanks [~david] - appreciate quick reply!
Bigtop is using AWS because our convenience binary artifacts are running on the tune of 0.7GB
per release. So we just don't won't to pollute ASF mirrors with huge amount of the packages.

However, the stats I have in mind are more for Maven artifacts that we publish to http://repository.apache.org/
Nexus server. And looks like you have addressed this already in INFRA-8603,

> Artifacts download statistics
> -----------------------------
> Key: INFRA-9011
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-9011
> Project: Infrastructure
> Issue Type: Wish
> Components: Nexus
> Reporter: Konstantin Boudnik
> To track the project's releases (Bigtop) adoption we'd like to have a way to track the
download stats for release artifacts (ideally, SNAPSHOTs too). However, I don't see if such
functionality is available for a project PMC. I can think that such stats might be very useful
for other TLP and Incubator projects.
> Is it possible to have something along these lines?
