The .INVALID thing is there because of the nasty way Y! have done some of the DMARC filtering.
 This was needed, some time ago I may add, to prevent all Y! emails from being dropped at
our MXes. 

As for the list config, the lists is explicitly configured to do this. They are by default
IIRC.  If you want it changed this will need to be a PMC request (i.e. give us the URL to
a vote thread). 

Please feel free to re-open this issue or create a new one when you are ready.
