Subject [jira] [Commented] (INFRA-7925) Replacement vm for svn-qavm
Date Fri, 20 Jun 2014 11:45:25 GMT

jan iversen commented on INFRA-7925:

Ref. #asfinfra.

if access is a problem, then I can cut the old vm and mount it on the new vm. That way you
can take your time.

Both vms running in parallel stresses a alreay stressed system (memory), so that period should
be short (just a rsync acc. danielsh)

ref. danielsh, you dont need large mem/cpu anymore, so I would like to reduce the vm to 1core
and 1Gb, and then you can request more if needed ?

> We'd like to replace svn-qavm with a newer setup that uses puppet. We'd like to preserve
the existing vm for reference when moving. To that end we'd like Infra to start building
a new VM for us. Ubuntu 12.04 would be fine or whatever you've been using as your standard
Linux distro.
