Subject [jira] [Closed] (INFRA-7567) GitHub account not being synchronised properly with Apache account
Date Mon, 14 Apr 2014 07:11:15 GMT

Gavin closed INFRA-7567.
------------------------

    Resolution: Won't Fix

Being added to the ASF Organization on Github doesn't link to your ASF acct, does not give
you any Github Privileges, it is purely for those that wanted to have their GitHub acct associated
by name, nothing more. (A vanity thing.)

> GitHub account not being synchronised properly with Apache account
> ------------------------------------------------------------------
>
> Key: INFRA-7567
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-7567
> Project: Infrastructure
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: Git, Subversion
> Reporter: Matt Sicker
> Assignee: Gavin
>
> I added my account to the GitHub list in the committers svn repo. My Apache username
(mattsicker) and my GitHub username (jvz) do not appear to be synced up properly. I can access
the Apache organisation in GitHub, but none of my commits from Subversion are appearing as
made by me on GitHub. As a consequence, I don't have access to the Git repositories on GitHub
(e.g., for using Travis).
