Jake Farrell commented on INFRA-7546:

You can change the location that your build runs on by setting the build label in your configuration.

note: not all boxes are on the same os or have the same packages/tools available. i.e. Hadoop
nodes are running ubuntu 10.04 and the ubuntu nodes are on 12.04. Also the Hadoop nodes only
have jdk1.6 where the ubuntu nodes have jdk1.6 through jdk1.8. would update your build label
based on your projects needs

> -----------------------------
> Key: INFRA-7546
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-7546
> Project: Infrastructure
> Issue Type: Task
> Components: Jenkins
> Reporter: Jun Rao
> Assignee: Jake Farrell
> I am trying to configure the following task to run all Kafka unit tests on every commit.

> I have the following questions.
> 1. The task seems to fail because of missing dir "/export/home/hudson/hudson-slave/workspace/Kafka-trunk".
Does that need to be created on every hudson machine?
> 2. I'd prefer to run the job on a linux box. Is there a way to specify this?
> 3. I want to specify the git branch to be trunk. What's the syntax to use in Branch Specifier?
> Thanks,
