#asfinfra IRC Bot commented on INFRA-6999:

<Humbedooh> This happens when you refer to multiple tickets (or one ticket multiple
times) in your commit message. I can work on a fix for this, but the immediate fix would be
to not refer to the same ticket twice in your commit messages.

> Duplicated messages from svngit2jira
> ------------------------------------
> Key: INFRA-6999
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-6999
> Project: Infrastructure
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: JIRA, Subversion
> Reporter: Knut Anders Hatlen
> Priority: Minor
> If one JIRA issue is mentioned more than once in a commit message, that JIRA issue gets
multiple notifications about the commit.
> See for example DERBY-6399, where there are four comments from ASF subversion and git
services, even though there are only two actual commits.
> It would be good if the notifications were sent only once per JIRA issue mentioned in
the commit message.
