Louis Suarez-Potts edited comment on INFRA-6690 at 11/22/13 6:36 PM:

Obviously, as a PMC member and as linked to this issue, I automatically receive updates.

Sorry to be a little short. As Andrea pointed out, the PMC, of which I am a member, has consensually
opined that. yeah, it'd be a good thing to have this domain, as it would be to have others,
and if it is still available--and I actually don't know--then let's acquire it. The advantage
to Apache is that it would make it both easier to control misuse of trademark and brand (Apache's
via OO's) and also serve as a focus for some Canadian (.ca) promotion and organisation.

> I, Louis Suarez-Potts, owns OpenOffice.ca and pay a service based in Canada for that
privilege. I acquired the domain with the express intent of promoting OpenOffice.org in the
day and have long wanted to transfer the ownership (and in particular the cost of paying for
the domain) to Apache, so that it can do what it needs with it. I was told to file an issue
with Infra, as I am here, to manage this transfer.

and give her the number, so that she can track it.
