Subject [jira] [Commented] (INFRA-4650) Svnpubsub-based git-svn updates
Date Thu, 24 Oct 2013 06:46:02 GMT

ASF IRC Bot commented on INFRA-4650:

Comment from pctony via IRC:
We do now have gitpubusb (via Humbedooh). Would this work for you Jukka? Reto, yes, the
near instant aspect is limited to SVN operations - the delay for git is because it relies
on the commit message to trigger an activity.

> Priority: Minor
> Currently the git-svn mirrors rely on commit notification mails for information about
when each repository has changed and needs to be updated. This setup is a bit cumbersome and
relies on somewhat complicated mailer configuration. Instead of replicating this mechanism
on git-wip-us, it would be nicer if we could come up with an svnpubsub client that listened
for changes in svn and triggered git-svn updates based on those events.
