Henk Penning commented on INFRA-6337:

Very good ; thanks. I think it only needs to go into the how-to-mirror
if the problem pops up more frequently than once ; Just my opinion.

> misconfigured mirror: apache.mirror.rafal.ca
> --------------------------------------------
> Key: INFRA-6337
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-6337
> Project: Infrastructure
> Issue Type: Bug
> Security Level: public(Regular issues)
> Components: Mirrors
> Reporter: Hoss Man
> The apache.mirror.rafal.ca server appears to be miss configured when receiving directory
requests that do not end in a trailing slash. Note that the following two example URLs bother
return 200 responses containing a directory listing w/o redirecting...
> 1) http://apache.mirror.rafal.ca/cassandra/
> 2) http://apache.mirror.rafal.ca/cassandra
> However...
> * All links returned by URL #2 generate 404s because they are relative the root dir --
> http://apache.mirror.rafal.ca/0.8.10/
> instead of...
> http://apache.mirror.rafal.ca/cassandra/0.8.10/
> * URL #1 does not include the HEADER.html txt.
> This is inconsistent with the behavior of all other mirrors tested and can cause 404s
when users click on specific files to download if a link to the mirror redirector doesn't
explicitly include a trailing slash for the directory.
> (Filed as a ticket for INFRA because I wasn't certain where to find the contact info
for an individual mirror maintainer in svn)
