Glen Mazza commented on INFRA-6330:
-----------------------------------

OK, I read through the list and here's what I found, separated by musts and possibles:

====== Musts:

Bugtraq ID:
old: Identifier for issue in Sun Developer Bug Database. (which points to a dead link)
new: <a href="http://www.securityfocus.com/archive/1">SecurityFocus</a> vulnerability
ID.

Customer(s):
old: Comma separated list of customers interested in this enhancement (e.g. "blogs.sun.com,jroller.com")
new: Comma separated list of entities interested in this enhancement (e.g. "blogs.oracle.com,
blogs.apache.org")
(note change from customers->entities *and* in sample URLs).

JDK Version:
old: JDK vendor an version in use on Roller server.
new: JDK vendor and version in use on Roller server.

Skill Level:
old: Estimate the skill level that may be required to contribute to or fis the issue.
new: Estimate the skill level that may be required to contribute to or fix the issue.

====== Possibles:

Reviewer
old: The person assigned to review the patch or fix for the Xalan issue.
new: The person assigned to review the patch or fix for the JIRA item.
(This item is used for more than just Xalan.)

Urgency:
old: The project team will classify this according to their urgency.
new: Used by the project team to classify item's urgency.

Proposed Name
old: The proposed name which suitability is sort.
new: (?) A name suitable for the item.

Bugzilla ID:
old: bugzilla ID
new: <a href="https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/">Apache Bugzilla</a> ID
(unsure if this is accurate of if the field is referring to possibly other non-Apache Bugzilla
systems).

Removing any definition which is nothing more than a copy-and-paste of the item name itself
(e.g., External Issue ID, External Issue URL, Severity, Priority), as you already have several
items that are undefined anyway.

Thanks!

> Hi, I'm listed as a Roller administrator, but when I go to this page: https://issues.apache.org/jira/plugins/servlet/project-config/ROL/fields
to change the text for the "JDK Version" field (trying to fix ROL-1478), it won't let me.
 If I try to alter the Default Screen for this entry I don't have the proper permissions.
 Can someone fix ROL-1478 for me or give me the permissions so I can do it myself?
