Subject [jira] [Commented] (INFRA-6257) Setup svnpubsub based site for Apache Falcon podling
Date Tue, 21 May 2013 01:24:13 GMT

#asfinfra IRC Bot commented on INFRA-6257:

<danielsh> We can't work with that. (a) Use a subdir (aka falcon/site/). That's required.
 (b) For an svnpubsub site we require index.html which you don't have (maybe you wanted CMS).
 (c) https://www.apache.org/dev/infra-contact#requesting-podling will have told you to use
the new webreq/cmsreq whimsy app. :)

> Setup svnpubsub based site for Apache Falcon podling
> ----------------------------------------------------
> Key: INFRA-6257
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-6257
> Project: Infrastructure
> Issue Type: Bug
> Security Level: public(Regular issues)
> Components: Podling Setup, SvnPubSub
> Reporter: Venkatesh Seetharam
> Please setup a static svnpubsub based site for the Apache Falcon podling.
> The initial version of our site will be at https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/incubator/falcon/site

> Presumably this will be published to http://falcon.incubator.apache.org/
> We are preparing to try our first release of the Falcon podling. It appears that we need
the following things to do this.
> 1) svn privs to svenkat & sriksun
> 2) falcon directory added to svn.apache.org/repos/asf/incubator/
> 3) a directory added to SVN: https://dist.apache.org/repos/dist/release/falcon
> 4) have svnpubsub setup to publish this to http://www.apache.org/dist/falcon
> The email list that this should notify is dev@falcon.incubator.apache.org
> Please let me know if additional details are required.
