Sebb commented on INFRA-6024:
-----------------------------

I did a check of all the ACL enabled Wiki configs:

apachecon.py : missing textchas_disabled_group actions_excluded
commons.py : missing actions_excluded
concomplanning.py : missing actions_excluded
couchdb.py : missing textchas_disabled_group
farmconfig.py : missing textchas_disabled_group
general.py : missing textchas_disabled_group
gump.py : missing actions_excluded
hadoop.py : missing textchas_disabled_group actions_excluded
HttpComponents.py : missing textchas_disabled_group actions_excluded
jmeter.py : missing textchas_disabled_group
lenya.py : missing actions_excluded
libcloud.py : missing textchas_disabled_group actions_excluded
nutch.py : missing textchas_disabled_group
spamassassin.py : missing actions_excluded
struts.py : missing actions_excluded
tcl.py : missing actions_excluded
turbine.py : missing actions_excluded
xmlbeans.py : missing textchas_disabled_group

As can be seen, several don't allow attachments, and several have not overridden the textchas_disabled_group.

AFAIK, I have sufficient karma to update textchas_disabled_group in the config items, however
this may change the behaviour for the AdminGroup in some wikis, and I don't have karma for
all Wikis to be able to fix that. The most I can do is see which Wikis would need to have
their CGroups updated.
But I can and will fix those that have the required CGroup entry.

As to allowing attachments, I could enable those - but I just want to double-check the policy,
According to OurWikiFarm: "... by applying a ContributorsGroup, then we can and will re-enable
attachments ..."
Can I take it that those configs with ACL but currently without attachments should have attachments
unconditionally enabled?

> Please can you set up access control for the Commons Wiki?
> I have already populated the AdminGroup and ContributorsGroup pages.
> [Hope that's OK to do before the Wiki is converted]
> The LocalBadContent page acl is incorrect, but I cannot change it directly.
> Please can you give AdminGroup admin permissions?
