Subject [jira] [Reopened] (INFRA-5770) Invite ASFBot to #apachemarmotta IRC channel
Date Fri, 18 Jan 2013 10:16:13 GMT

Sergio Fernández reopened INFRA-5770:

Today we tried to use the bot according the documentation, but I guess we did something wrong,
because the reports has been generated with errors:

<Wikier> ASFBot: meeting end
<ASFBot> Meeting ended at Fri Jan 18 10:05:14 2013
* ASFBot has changed the topic to: Apache Marmotta (incubating)
<ASFBot> Minutes available at: http://wilderness.apache.org/archives/apachemarmotta-18_01_2013-7848.html
<ASFBot> Error: scripts/meetings.lua:187: bad argument #1 to 'format' (string expected,
got nil)
<sschaffert> uh oh
<Wikier> ASFBot: meeting send dev@marmotta.incubator.apache.org
<ASFBot> Sending meeting summary to dev@marmotta.incubator.apache.org
<ASFBot> Meeting summary sent!
<ASFBot> Raw summary available at: http://wilderness.apache.org/archives/apachemarmotta-18_01_2013-8856.txt

The HTML version contains only the topics, but not the log or the actions. And the plain text
version is actually yesterday's test meeting.

What have we done wrong?
> Invite ASFBot to #apachemarmotta IRC channel
> --------------------------------------------
> Key: INFRA-5770
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-5770
> Project: Infrastructure
> Issue Type: Task
> Security Level: public(Regular issues)
> Components: Other/Misc
> Reporter: Sergio Fernández
> Assignee: Daniel Gruno
> Priority: Trivial
> The Marmotta incubating project agreed on using IRC for the project meetings. Therefore
we would like to use ASFBot to have a proper logging of the channel (see MARMOTTA-15).
> Would be that possible?
> Thanks so much.
