Subject [jira] [Created] (INFRA-5220) Subscribe hcatalog-dev to Jira issue search
Date Tue, 04 Sep 2012 17:18:07 GMT
Travis Crawford created INFRA-5220:

Summary: Subscribe hcatalog-dev to Jira issue search
                 Key: INFRA-5220
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-5220
             Project: Infrastructure
          Issue Type: Task
      Security Level: public (Regular issues)
          Components: JIRA
            Reporter: Travis Crawford

Jira has a feature where users can subscribe to an issue search, receiving email about issues
matching the filter on some schedule. hcatalog-dev@incubator.apache.org would like to receive
daily emails for the following query:

project = HCATALOG AND status = "Patch Available"

As an individual user, I created this saved search, and have it sent to my personal email
address. However, I do not have permissions to send this report to others.

Reading https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Receiving+Search+Results+via+Email I
learned the "Manage Group Filter Subscriptions" global permission is required to send others

Can someone with the appropriate Jira permissions setup a daily email for the above query,
or grant someone in the HCatalog project permissions to set this up?
