Joe Schaefer commented on INFRA-4487:

The "verb" is GET- as the CMS is REST compliant, "nothing" changes on the server
when you click on links- that is a reversible and repeatable process. Everything that
changes state goes through POSTed form data. In any case since
the UI is crammed for space the best I could do was provide titles for the
more unfamiliar links.

FWIW, "Static" views probably should've been named "Raw" or something to
indicate it's just the bare unprocessed file being shown, without any of the
auxiliary local links working in case it's html. Whatever, it's not the most
important UI feature save for it's ability to display images.

> when looking at a directory with the CMS, for each file, the CMS lists following actions:
[Edit] [Static] [Staged] [Production]
> "Static", "Staged" and "Production" don't really explain what action they do: "View Staged"
and "View Production"? and what means "static"?
> There should be a verb to be sure to understand what will happen when following the link
