Subject [jira] [Commented] (INFRA-3924) Buildbot for generating javadocs for apache wicket

Martijn Dashorst commented on INFRA-3924:
-----------------------------------------

Probably the command to generate the api docs needs to be:

    mvn install javadoc:aggregate

Some weird thing of Maven and the multi-module support I suppose...

> Instead of having to commit API docs to svn and using pub sub to publish our javadocs,
we'd like to publish the javadocs using an automated build system. Gavin McDonald told to
use buildbot for this when asking around on #asfinfra.
> So I'd like to ask a buildbot setup for wicket such that we can generate the API docs
and not have to put them into svn.
> I'm not sure what I need to provide, but here's some info I can imagine that is necessary:
> - svn branches to watch:
> https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/wicket/branches/wicket-1.4.x
> https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/wicket/branches/wicket-1.3.x
> (and soon:)
> https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/wicket/branches/wicket-1.5.x
> - command to generate the api docs:
> mvn javadoc:aggregate
> - directory to copy:
> target/site/apidocs
