Subject [jira] [Commented] (INFRA-3931) *[^n][^a].apachecon.com sites are down
Date Wed, 14 Sep 2011 11:23:09 GMT

Nick Burch commented on INFRA-3931:

To confirm, www.apachecon.com and na11.apachecon.com both point to external services, and
should remain unchanged

archive.apachecon.com points to an infra managed machine, serving content from svn

eu.apachecon.com, us.apachecon.com and na.apachecon.com currently point to an external machine.
These should be changed to point to the same box as archive.apachecon.com, and the httpd config
should be tweaked to make them hit the same vhost

> Nick Burch on planners* notes that some of the DNS entries for non-current conference
(i.e. not the na11.apachecon.com site), like us.ac.com and eu.ac.com, among others, probably
need to be fixed or tweaked, possibly to point to http://archive.apachecon.com/ which comes
from https://svn.apache.org/repos/infra/apachecon/archive.apachecon.com/
> This is the one week that I really *needed* to see this content, too. Sigh.
> Note that connecting to http://archive.apachecon.com/ itself eventually fails for me,
after a number of apparent redirects through na.ac.com (then timesout).
