Tony Stevenson closed INFRA-3417.

    Resolution: Won't Fix

We typically only deploy whatever BSD has in it's ports tree.
So for current mino, which is going to be replaced this week with a new build, the version
of java that is available and built is here: http://tb.apache.org//packages/8.2-RELENG-people/java/

So there will be a minor upgrade as a result of the new machine.

> Key: INFRA-3417
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-3417
> Project: Infrastructure
> Issue Type: Task
> Security Level: public(Regular issues)
> Reporter: Daniel Kulp
> Priority: Minor
> The version of Java on people.apache.org is an ancient version of Java6 and doesn't support
the newer versions of things like JAXB and JAX-WS and such without endorsing the api jars.
Can it be updated to a newer version?
