David Crossley reopened INFRA-1061:

Re-opening, as i get this same issue today. When one tests changes to our project's download
mirror page, by using the browser proxy trick, before the rsync publishes the pages.
"ImportError: No module named GeoIP"

> GeoIP python module is missing on minotaur
> ------------------------------------------
> Key: INFRA-1061
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-1061
> Project: Infrastructure
> Issue Type: Bug
> Security Level: public(Regular issues)
> Components: Website
> Reporter: Henning Schmiedehausen
> While trying out a new web site using the download.cgi script located at /www/www.apache.org/dyn/mirrors/mirrors.cgi,
I get the following error:
> Traceback (most recent call last):
> File "/www/www.apache.org/dyn/mirrors/mirrors.cgi", line 29, in ?
> import GeoIP
> ImportError: No module named GeoIP
> This module is probably installed on the servers that serve the pages but for debugging/testing
purposes (e.g. deploying a site to ~henning/site), it would be good if that module is also
on minotaur.
