Mirrors list code of conduct
----------------------------

                 Key: INFRA-2112
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-2112
             Project: Infrastructure
          Issue Type: Wish
      Security Level: public (Regular issues)
          Components: Mirrors
         Environment: n/a
            Reporter: James Paul Woods
            Priority: Trivial

I hope this is in the right area. Mailing lists in general have a code of conduct that people
usually silently abide by. There is never a need to email "thank you" or other random chatter
to mailing lists that are emailing a group of people with the majority having nothing to do
with the issue.

I've seen this alot since i've been on the mirrors list and I haven't even been on it long.
Probably 50+ trivial e-mails back and forth.

I think if lists are constantly abused in this fashion those that are forced to be subscribed
will perhaps ignore the mail all together since it's mostly un-related to the operation of
the infrastructure.

Thank You
