Subject [jira] Commented: (INFRA-1283) Create Commons TLP
Date Tue, 31 Jul 2007 04:44:53 GMT

Henri Yandell commented on INFRA-1283:
--------------------------------------

I don't think so - there's a central Apache one we should start using afaik.

Two things outstanding:

1) Moving the wiki.

2) We'd like to move the dist stuff over.

For 2, I'm thinking:

rm -r /www/archive.apache.org/dist/commons
mv /www/archive.apache.org/dist/jakarta/commons /www/archive.apache.org/dist/commons
rm -r /www/www.apache.org/dist/commons
mv /www/www.apache.org/dist/jakarta/commons /www/www.apache.org/dist/commons

and then adding a Redirect Permanent to /www/www.apache.org/dist/commons/.htaccess of:

Redirect Permanent /dist/jakarta/commons /dist/commons

I'm not sure if the right hand side has to be a full url - if so it'd need to use some kind
of HOST variable so that it works when it goes from www.apache.org to archive.apache.org.
