Seems like a bit of overkill, but ... intriguing.

If you clone the whimsy repository, you can do grep for
'mail.deliver!' to find a number of emails.

Sending of attachments would concern me, as email which is sent to (or
merely copies) secretary@ is scanned for attachments.  The code in
git/whimsy/www/secmail would need to be modified to recognize and
'step over' or ignore these attachments.
