It's been talked about for years and everyone agrees that it'd be good
to have, but no single person has ever thought it worth implementing.
Dave Anderson came closest, but then real life intervened; so nothing
came out of his posting.

Patches to Subversion are certainly welcome.  We all know *how* to do
it, but we've consistently felt there are more important things to
work on.  -- justin
