Subject [jira] [Created] (BUILDS-22) RAT step for Tomcat 7 fails at silvanus_ubuntu with "../../rat-buildfiles/tomcat-7-trunk.xml" file does not exist
Date Wed, 17 Sep 2014 15:36:34 GMT
Konstantin Kolinko created BUILDS-22:
----------------------------------------

             Summary: RAT step for Tomcat 7 fails at silvanus_ubuntu with "../../rat-buildfiles/tomcat-7-trunk.xml"
file does not exist
                 Key: BUILDS-22
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/BUILDS-22
             Project: Infra Build Platform
          Issue Type: Task
          Components: Buildbot
            Reporter: Konstantin Kolinko

Tomcat 7 build at silvanus_ubuntu Buildbot slave fails at RAT step:

http://ci.apache.org/builders/tomcat-7-trunk/builds/304/steps/shell_3/logs/stdio

{quote}
bash -c 'ant -f ../../rat-buildfiles/tomcat-7-trunk.xml -lib ~'
 in dir /home/buildslave32/slave32/tomcat-7-trunk/build (timeout 1200 secs)
 watching logfiles {}

<...>

Buildfile: ../../rat-buildfiles/tomcat-7-trunk.xml does not exist!
Build failed
{quote}

I wonder how this rat-buildfile is created and whether it is tracked via Subversion repository.

As a workaround, it is possible to disable 3 steps in Buildbot configuration for Tomcat 7
that are responsible for creating, uploading and publishing the RAT report.
