So, if I understand you correctly, it would seem that the archiving
step is very slow in Hudson, and in the case of Tuscany you have large
archives which would cause the timeout (rather than say a deadlock).
Not sure what would cause this or what could be done to improve it. I
don't think the performance of the Hudson machines nor the bandwidth
would be the cause. Perhaps it might be worth opening a discussion
with the Hudson devs and see what they say about it.
