I am migrating from port based vhosting to name based. In your default confing file
I read that NameVirtualHost * is valid. And httpdctl configtest does says that it's ok; however,
when broser 
is pointed to the vhosted domain (which has <VirtualHost *> config) "connection reset
by peer" error pops up.

I have replased <VirtualHost *> with <VirtuslHost 192.168.1.1> and everything
works liek it should.
