Pentium III 800 Mhz with 128 Mb RAM (Dell Optiplex GX150) PHP 4.04pl - ezPublish 2.1 (developer.ez.no) >Description: Apparently, mod-rewrite enters an infinite loop and consumes all memory, until windows starts compalining for low memory. It could be a memory lack, as well. You can use the Task Manager to check the phenomenon. The consumption rate is something like one Mb per minute on my machine. I'm tring to install ezPublish 2.1 (see http://developer.ez.no). It uses both virtual hosts and the rewrite engine. After having modified the httpd.conf file as descripted in their documentation, I have got the memory problem. >How-To-Repeat: This is the relevant part of my httpd.conf: --------------------------------------------------- # # Dynamic Shared Object (DSO) Support # # To be able to use the functionality of a module which was built as a DSO you # have to place corresponding `LoadModule' lines at this location so the # directives contained in it are actually available _before_ they are used. # Please read the file README.DSO in the Apache 1.3 distribution for more # details about the DSO mechanism and run `apache -l' for the list of already # built-in (statically linked and thus always available) modules in your Apache # binary. # # Note: The order in which modules are loaded is important.
