Linux 2.2.5-15 on a Intel Celeron (i686 400MHz) 
I have installed RedHat 6.0 on a machine as stated above... when i tried 
to configure apache 1.3.9 using APACI I got an error saying that it needed a 
ANSI C compiler.		
Try installing apache 1.3.9 on a RedHat 6.0 machine
