This report is just informational to make the problem known to others...

After upgrading from Solaris 2.5.1 to Solaris 2.6 apache showed a strange
behavior: Apache couldn't execute any cgi-scripts.

ErrorLog shows messages like:

To fix this problem, have a look to the "/dev" (aka /devices/...) - directory
and carefully check the access rights to certain devices (or the directory)
for the user/group the apache httpd is running on...
