I did actually read the install programs but it is obvious that perhaps wording or description should be changed instead of dismissing my issue and immediately closing it. Your example appears NOT to be arguments to the configure program but the setting of SHELL variables prior to execution of the configure program. Is this how it works, I WAS looking for a specific option in the configure program to set -D parameters. Maybe more information should be added here. How would you do changes to multiple variables using your example? Thanks... Mike
