the pid of the main process is 83

[Mon Feb  9 05:39:47 1998] [error] child process 418 still did not exit, sending a SIGKILL
[Mon Feb  9 05:39:47 1998] [error] child process 424 still did not exit, sending a SIGKILL

When I kill the main process the childs exits, but not the main process. It is not posible
to kill the main.
