Linux, Gcc-, Pentium Gcc 1.0, Linux libc5 and libc6
Would you please quote $(CC) in recursive calls to Make?
        (cd regex; $(MAKE) lib CC='$(CC)' AUX_CFLAGS='$(CFLAGS)' RANLIB='$(RANLI
        (cd $@; $(MAKE) CC='$(CC)' AUX_CFLAGS='$(MOD_CFLAGS)' RANLIB='$(RANLIB)'
Set something like:
CC=gcc -V2.7.2.3 -b i586-unknown-linux-gnulibc1 -nostdinc
in Configuration; ./Configure; make
Please put single quotes around $(CC) in all recursive Make calls.
I can email a patch if the above is not clear
[In order for any reply to be added to the PR database, ]
[you need to include <apbugs@Apache.Org> in the Cc line ]
[and leave the subject line UNCHANGED. This is not done]
[automatically because of the potential for mail loops. ]
