Subject Re: general/803: Multiple /// in URLs allowed (e.g. http://host////somefile.html)
Date Sun, 06 Jul 1997 22:20:45 GMT
Synopsis: Multiple /// in URLs allowed (e.g. http://host////somefile.html)

State-Changed-From-To: analyzed-closed
State-Changed-By: marc
State-Changed-When: Sun Jul 6 15:20:44 PDT 1997
State-Changed-Why:
Decided this isn't against any spec, but it is arguable that Apache
shouldn't act this way. Some servers do (eg. IIS), some
don't (eg. Netscape's servers).

May be changed in the future if we add an abstraction
layer to take away the dependency on the filesystem.
