ap_signal is defined on the line below the one you quote (remembering that
signal has been mapped to ap_signal).

My version of QNX (4.21) does not have a #define for signal in its headers.
Perhaps you could find the definition and send it to me?

Also, the output from uname -a may help to create an appropriate patch.
